I waa talk about the third session we had this term, at which we had no presentation due to presenters' not being ready and Ms. Mohammadi herself was forced to explain lesson 4 on " The Audio-Lingual method ". In this method the teacher uses only the target language in the classroom.

The students repeat each line of the new dialogue several times and new vocabulary is introduced through lines. And grammatical points are taught through examples and drills, which we call it teaching grammar inductively.

Next session in new year came Mr. Khabbazzadeh and Mr. Poursoltan to present lesson 5 on " The Silent Way ". For me it was somehow difficult to understand this lesson and I think I'd better have studied it beforehand so that I could get the lesson easily in class.

This method put more emphasis on pronunciation from the begiing. The teacher is a technician or engineer and relying on what his students already know, the teacher can give what help is necessary, force their awareness and so on.
Regardless of what we learn through the book and presentations Ms. Mohammadi gives us some more explanations and terms we need to take note of them in order to learn the lesson more effectively. Terms like syllabus, lesson plan, curriculum and inductive and deductive way of teaching and the differences between some similar terms.
Considering all aspects of this class, I am satisfied
